📖 The Legend of the Lunar Zodiac
According to Chinese tradition, the Jade Emperor organised a great race between animals to determine their positions in the zodiac calendar.
During the race, the energetic Horse raced towards the finish line, determined to claim a strong position. However, the clever Snake, hidden around the horse’s hoof, suddenly startled it just before the finish, allowing the Snake to slip ahead.
Despite this unexpected twist, the resilient Horse still secured seventh place, becoming one of the twelve animals that define the lunar calendar.
Those born in Horse years (2026, 2014, 2002, 1990 and every twelfth year prior) are believed to be charismatic, energetic, adventurous, and natural leaders.
